Contact forms
We use contact forms purely to answer your joining / volunteer requests. Your information is only sent to a small number of key members of the district team to facilitate replying to you. If you are interested in a specific group, we may pass your contact information onto a leader within that section to make further contact with you and help you towards joining. Otherwise, your information is never sent on to any 3rd party.
Cookies
We use Google Analytics cookies for monitoring overall (anonymised) traffic levels and the effectiveness of the website. Your personal information is not sent to Google Analytics or any other 3rd party as part of this process.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

No one. Ever. as mentioned above, only a handful of district volunteers see the information submitted by the contact forms.
How long we retain your data
If you contact us, we will keep your data for as long as the conversation lasts only. If you become a volunteer within Torfaen Scouts, we will retain your contact information for as long as you are a member. If your child joins a group in Torfaen, we will delete previous correspondence with you, and the group leaders will ask you for new, more details information to support communications at group level.
